John Ulu Oke
John is a Management Consultant and has a working career spanning over 15 years across different roles and functions. His career path includes a stint at the multinational manufacturing giant, UNILEVER NIGERIA PLC, which transversed Production, Human Resources Services, Internal Audit, Marketing and Customer Service.
John, in the 90s, as a founding director of Ejiogu Multilinks Services Ltd was developing Business and Marketing Models that enabled several Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs’ (Under the auspices of NCWS and SMEDAN) to access loans and Support Services from Designated Nigerian Banks under the World Bank sponsored Gender Empowerment Program.
In 2008, he co-founded Chancery Consulting Limited, a Business Development and Consultancy firm that provide Entrepreneurship Development, Training and Change Management Services.
John has consulted and held responsibility as project lead in several indigenous and foreign management development programs, which include, update and Implementation of a Communication and Visibility Plan and Research to Document Output Briefs in the European Commission co-funded Anambra State Water and Sanitation Sector Reform Program.
He also researched, developed and implemented an Entrepreneurship Training Program for several Beneficiaries of the Federal Government of Nigeria backed Youth Empowerment Program. The Program was designed as a “Revolving Door”, where a beneficiary enters at one point as a novice and exits at the other end as an business owner. Part of the project includes a mentorship scheme that involves helping the beneficiaries’ start-up small-medium scale enterprises and mentoring them through stability.
