ominique Palmer is a trailblazing climate justice activist, an accomplished storyteller, a prolific writer, and a captivating speaker based in the UK.
She is a distinguished coordinator in Climate Live, a member of the HERO U.K Climate Justice Circle, and an environmentalist whose passion for sustainable living and veganism knows no bounds.
Her journey towards becoming a youth activist started when she discovered how air pollution was devastating her community. Her remarkable leadership and activism have been felt across the world, as she has graced world stages and spoken about climate justice and her activism at iconic events such as COP26, NY Times Hub hosted by Emma Watson alongside Malala and Greta Thunberg, the UN Women CWS66 Youth Forum, at the O2 with Billie Eilish, CultureCop in Egypt alongside Mary Robinson, at COP25 with the Indigenous Pavillion, and TEDxCountdown with Climate Reality. As well as being a U.K Hub Leader for Black Girl Environmentalist, her work has earned her a coveted spot in the
Forbes 2020 Top U.K Environmentalists List. In March 2023, she was honoured as a Young Leader at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards hosted by Livia Firth, Viola Davis and Tom Ford and was introduced and awarded on stage by Annie Lennox.
Dominique’s passion for sustainable lifestyle and fashion is matched only by her commitment to her cause, and she has walked Kornit fashion week show with Anyango Mpinga and modeled for brands’ environmental campaigns, including Pangaia and Kurt Geiger. As well as working with brands such as Timberland, LUSH, and Sky TV Nature.
Dr Kennedy Javuru is a highly experienced Communications Consultant with a proven track record in developing communications programmes and trainings for organisations that make a real difference;
Experienced in building brands, raising organisations’ profiles, reputation management, crisis communication, change communication and delivering impactful communications and engagement campaigns.
Worked as a reporting journalist with Channel, Dr Kennedy Javuru reported on the War in Iraq and was one of a few BAME journalists on ground in Basra.
Dr Kennedy Javuru currently advises 5 Local Authorities in the UK including the Greater London Authority on communications related to Net zero 2030 ‘the Accelerated Green pathway’, clean air and environmental sustainability.
He holds a PhD in Mass Communications from London Metropolitan Univesity and he is an avid Arsenal fan.
